Imaginary future
It's very important to know about the past when we think about the future. What took us to today's place, and what changed in the process? Even though the world has completely changed in the last century, our basic needs are still the same: food, sleep, shelter, sex, gratitude, and love to name a few. Some inventions have made our lives easier such as electricity, the computer, television, the internet, cars, and the aeroplane to name a few. And of course, many inventions make life easier, such as new drugs and faster transportation. Two reasons why predicting the future are important are, First, what kind of future we want to pass on to our next generation. Next, the results that we get depend on the decisions that we make. So what will the world look like 50 years from now? Sadly, that's everyone's guess. So there is a prediction that the world is wonderful, we get rid of poverty, we have world peace, and we have the technology available at our fingertips, and there are other predictions that technology development may lead to large unemployment, and people may rely everything on machines.
1- Pure Air
Talking about the most important thing that we need to consider when we move towards predicting the future, we have to know what the air would feel like. People would not have access to pure air since people these days prefer capital intensive industries and that would mean more air pollution by the start of 2050. We would have to buy oxygen cylinders to have access to air that is not toxic.
2- Water
Just like air, water would also be among one of the demandable properties. We would have to come up with technologies that would help us create water from the air. We cannot differentiate between the drinking water and water used for other purposes such as washing clothes and utensils. The need for pure water would be huge and water would be more expensive compared to what it is now.
3- Food
No one would bother making food in 2050-2060, everyone would prefer eating supplements and shakes as it would keep their bodies in tone and they would not have to spend a lot of money on food. This would help the supplement industry grow and the health improvement is a priority in these years.
4- Spending patterns
Everything is online, there are hardly any stores, and people prefer spending online. Everyone has plastic money and there is no paper money at all. Since the technology is so advanced, people would complete electronic transactions and the cybercrime would be at its lowest for that matter then.
5- Nature
Buildings, houses, offices and every other place has been made sure to have greenery so that they can produce enough oxygen for the people to survive at that point. There would be more parks and recreational centres so that people would have oxygen to breathe and the air would have more oxygen than the other gasses.
6- Medicine
There would be a lot of improvements in the medical field, there would be many technologies to make sure that people would be able to get to know about the diseases in the early stages and so they would be able to cure them very fast too. There would be many hospitals for the people to get their checkups done, and mostly there would be robots working. Due to the increase in artificial intelligence, there would be more robots than humans that would be looking into the medical health of the patients that come to them.
7- Vehicles
Air travel is something that would take over the world. Every car would have the power to fly in the air so that earth is for the people to walk and the traffic would be shifted in the air. There would be electronic cars that would be flying all their way in the world.
8- Robots
For house help, there would be robots and not humans working for you. You would have to command the robots to get the work done so that they would not be expecting any kind of mistake form their ends.
9- Self-cleaning homes
People would no longer have to have any house help since the AI is so advanced, people would have robots that would help them clean the house. All you have to do is click on a button and you would be up for having the house cleaned. There are voice command robots these days that can get the lights and other stuff opened and closed accordingly as well, it would increase in power and intensity by 2060.
In conclusion, the 40-50 years to come are going to be huge on technology and many people might lose their jobs but their lifestyle would increase by a great number. Artificial intelligence would be a game-changer and people would incorporate marketing strategies to make sure that their brands are known to the world.
